To realize our mission and vision, we are guided by the following principles:

• We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of individuals in need
• We will continue to develop, implement, and promote outreach programs based on community need and feedback
• We will not become religiously slanted, judgmental or political opinionated
• We will avoid indebtedness
• We will not let the viability of our organization dominate decision-making practices
• We will avoid organizational affiliations that compromise our purpose or weaken our effectiveness.
• We will conduct our organization in ways that support and/or compliment other organizations working to educate, enlighten, and empower people to become better human-beings
